Did you know that Canadian Payroll is now included in Dynamics GP 2013?

If your firm is running Dynamics GP 2013 or better, then your firm owns Canadian Payroll. What used to be an additional cost is now bundled in the software. While this is not new (it has been this way since the release of Dynamics GP 2013) I have found most clients don’t completely understand the potential this presents.

The benefits for this is that your firm is probably spending between 100-200+ for each payroll you process through a services (ADP or Ceridian) plus additional charges for T4’s, reports and ROE data. Since most data entry is performed by your staff switching this means that you may save hundreds of dollars per month.

The cost to do this is the Canadian Payroll implementation cost and the semiannual tax updates. The first is a onetime cost for deployment of and training on the new system, and the second requires that you keep Dynamics GP at the current service pack. Maintaining the current service pack level is always recommended it not only provides the new tax tables but also new features that Dynamics GP has added along the way. This makes upgrades and migrations to new releases very easy so you can enjoy the full features of the Dynamics GP system that you invested in.
